Roger Gould Tutorial
March 2, 2009

Had a tutorial on my learning agreement with Roger and know how to focus my learning agreement and what is required for it. I also need to send him the revised learning agreement I do later this week along with my timeplan.
Martin Email for Brief Outline
February 24, 2009
I sent an email to Martin with the outline of my brief to gain some feeback, here are his comments.
Looks good, do you think it might help if the exhibition was also tied to an event or time in the year as well? Is there a time when we should question the idea of fate? Maybe an obvious strating point would be February 14th but perhaps there are other times in the year which you could consider.
Without anchoring it you might find that the subject is still to broad but you might not feel this is the case at all, and you want to keep it open!
…although it might be worth thinking of a location and how fate plays a different role in different locations…?
Would you tackle the exhibition and subject differently if it was held in a train station to a gallery??
His questions offer some interesting angles to look into and explore. At the moment my thoughts would sway more towards keeping it quite open and not tie the exhibition to a specific date or time but I shall explore this alternative.
Tutorial with Martin Coyne
February 20, 2009
Well my tutorial earlier this afternoon was incredibly useful and Martin really helped me focus my mind on what I can do with the topic area I have been working on. I am now thinking that all my findings can be applied to something likeĀ designing an exhibition based entirely around our fate and destiny.
I am going to have to think in depth around this to work out exactly what I can do put the thought of this does excite me. It opens up the potential to design a space for the exhibition as well as identity and other needed bits and pieces.
Roger Gould Tutorial – Friday 13th!
February 13, 2009

Just come back from my tutorial with Roger that was very constructive, I have a few goals to achieve within the next week.
In particular I must make sure I contact Charlotte Wilmot from the library to help me draw up a list of books/journals etc that I can use for research.
Plan of action for the next week . . .
1/ Contact Charlotte Wilmot
2/ Gather a collection of quotes from reputable sources based upon fate and destiny
3/ Continue work on my Learning Agreement and make more academic
4/ Try and find a focus and need for my research to be applied
